Pruning
Tree pruning practices and techniques will vary depending on the age,
location, and condition of the tree. As a general rule, young trees may
require a fair amount of live growth removed over time to achieve
proper form. Older trees should only have dead, diseased or hazardous
limbs removed. We follow pruning guidelines as set forth by ANSI
regulations.

Cabling & Bracing
There are times when poor crown structure or incidental defects put
some trees at risk for failure. We can help identify potential problems
and install support systems to reduce the risk of failure.
|
Insect and Disease Control
Most trees and shrubs have some type of insect or pathogen on them at
any given time. Healthy plants can usually endure moderate infestations
with little or no negative effect. We can identify these problems and
determine if and when any treatments are needed.

Root and Soil Treatments
Probably the most overlooked aspect of tree care involves the landscape
underground. Poor soils, compaction, drainage, and soil composition
play a major role in tree health. We can provide soil testing and
evaluation to determine the best treatment, if any is required.
Poor root structure and girdling roots are a common cause of failure in landscape trees. We can identify and possibly remedy these problems before it's too late.
